The elementary school celebrated holidays around the world today. Our Japanese and American mothers put on quite the celebration for the students. The American mothers explained to the students about the holiday of Thanksgiving, both its meaning and how it is celebrated. The Japanese mothers did a wonderful job of sharing about their holidays and brought out their traditional outfits the kimono for students and staff to wear. The students had fun while learning to appreciate the world cultures that exist all around them.
