Guardians Soccer Season Opener 2018

IA Guardians played their season opener on Thursday, September 27th.
As usual, our soccer season started with the game against IA parents/teachers/staff.

Despite a great effort and a lead in the first half, IA Guardians weren’t able to get their first W.

Guardians really stepped up and exceeded expectations allowing only 4 goals in the game. Timothy C. played his first game for IA since May 2017 and his confidence in the goal was a major factor in team’s success.

Tim B. who was the MVP last season, scored Guardians only goal.

Chiaki, Jaeyeong and Geon Hee played their debut game in black and red.

After the game, we had an opportunity to quickly interview Coach Kristina: «I am very proud of our guys. They played their hearts out and followed game plan to a T».
