Sports Banquet 2018
Once again coaches and players gathered to celebrate another great year of sports at IA. This year was a special year as we not only celebrated the basketball team’s efforts and accomplishments, but this was the first full year for the IA Guardian soccer team. Way to go Guardians!

2nd Annual Guardian’s Cup
Once again International Academy has hosted the Guardian’s Cup Basketball Tournament. The two day event was full of hard fought games, laughter and fun. First Soccer Victory of 2017-2018 Season
The IA Guardians played an outstanding soccer game against the local sport’s school, Svezda. The team fought hard all the way to the end and scored two final goals near the end of the game to take the lead and win 5 to 3. Way to go IA Guardians! We are proud of you.

New Soccer Uniforms
The IA Guardians played their first game in new uniforms. Coach Shulgin and Coach K have worked for a month and half with the students and it shows. They put up quite a battle against the Teacher/Parent team.

Guardians Soccer — Third Place!
We are so proud of this year’s middle school Guardians soccer team which participated in the AAS soccer tournament and took third place. This was the first year that the team has played competitively. It was a great experience for the team and gives them something to build on going forward. Way to go Guardians!

Guardians Cup First Place!
After initially losing to school 239 in a two point overtime loss, the boy’s varsity team came back to beat this same team in the final to take first place in the Guardians Cup. The team effort was amazing through out the tournament.

Congratulations to girl’s varsity team for placing third in the Guardians Cup tournament! After initially losing to AAS, the girl’s team was able to come back and beat them in the third place game. IA Guardian’s Cup
The IA Guardians host a basketball tournament this weekend. Both the boy’s and girl’s teams will take on local schools from St. Petersburg. The preliminary round games will take place on Friday, March 3, 2017, while the playoff games will take place on Saturday, March 4, 2017. Come join us and support the team!
